I wish this is not the last part, because the music of White Oak really gathered me many years from the beginning no matter there are only three releases. I felt in love with those guys immediately when I heared Contouren van het niets first time and can't wait what music they will come up with under different names! :)

Argo van Bart When you start playing this record it immediately takes you all the way! The atmospheric sound and the desperate scream that is coming up in the beginning is really addicting and you want to play it over and over again.
The previous album Verscholen Visies was the best release of 2016 for me and I think I have chosen the best release for 2017 at this very moment.

Pestilentis It has classic atmospheric sound at the begining, then some heavier riffs... the sad guitar solo is excellent at the late part... and finally atmospheric and depressive again... I thank you for this record.

Melodic, almost pagan black metal out of Iceland with some of the most aggressive vocals I've heard in the genre. It's balls to the walls from the first note with few respites, but its melodic enough to not overstay its welcome. Jeff Wilson
